Summer Dancing

This Thursday, June 15th, we will have our last class before the Summer break. There will be social dancing instead of the regular class. Come and bring with you your good spirit and something sweet! We meet, as usual, in Filippovskaya school at 20:00.

But this doesn't mean that we don't dance in the Summer at all!

Every Tuesday from 8 in the evening and till dusk, if the weather is good, we dance in the Gorky Park. We dance simple dances, so anyone can join us, and we dance complex ones, interesting for experienced dancers. Our dances are free of charge! Come and join us!

We dance either at the entrance to Pushkin Bridge, or, if there is possibility of a rain, under the bridge. Walking time from Shabolovskaya metro station is about 10 minutes. Our dancing spots are marked on the map. Simply follow the sounds of Scottish music to find us!

Welcome to Social dancing

On Thursday, March 9th we invite everybody to our social dancing, dedicated to the beginning of Spring. The social dancing will start at 19:30 at Filippovskaya school. The entrance fee is 300 roubles. The details and the dance programme are on the event page.

On Sunday, April 2nd, together with our splendid musicians Vladimir Maksimenkov and Alexander Pavlov we are going to organize Ceilidh dancing in Vermel. The entry is free.

And surely don't forget to participate in our main event of this year — Spring School of Scottish Dancing in Kazan. More than one hundred dancers have already registered for this event and there are still places available! Join us!

Registration for Spring School 2017 is opened

Registration for the fifth Spring School of Scottish Dancing 2017 in Russia is opened now! The School will be held in Kazan from May 5 to May 9. We have engaged brilliant teachers: Malcolm Brown, Ron Wallace, James Stott and Deryck Mitchelson! We have invited wonderful musicians Ian and Judith Muir. There will be 36 hours of classes, ball and social dancing, festival of demonstration teams and Highland competition — all within 5 days!
